Our Story
AND SO THE STORY BEGAN…
I turned my love for family, little ones and fashion into what I hope is one of the most unique online baby boutiques here in Australia.
It was not until I had my son Ellis Kane, well actually the previous ten months of pregnancy, that I realized that modern baby clothing and accessories I was looking for simply didn’t exist here in Australia.
‘Ellis & Me’ imports US & International products which are not available in Australia. Now!, Savvy rich textiles and comfortable modern designs are available for all mums and of course our precious little ones.
I have always been creative and have always owned my own business. I was fortunate to live in New York for 10 years directing my own art consulting business before I returned to Australia to marry my husband and start a wee small family. After 3 years of hard work and emotional strains we were finally blessed with our most cherished (and cheeky) son, Ellis Kane Hogan. Once he was born I just knew this is what I wanted to do and it was time to start this new exciting business venture.
I knew from my past experience (yes for the last 3 months of my pregnancy I wasn’t capable of moving, so I ordered products via this wonderful world we called the internet) that some of the local online baby boutiques didn’t carry the unique and modern products I was looking for, especially modern cribbing and unique baby bags. There was a lack of customer service and long delays in product deliveries – ‘Ellis & Me’ implements a better service, more user friendly, desirable website, providing unique online shopping for the hip n happy mum n bub.
And so the story begins… the birth of ‘Ellis & Me’…
I am a family and baby person and like to think I am still a modern and hip mother. I choose only fabulous textile products which are unique and modern to the Australian market. I am manufacturing my own line called ‘Ellis & Me Designs’ which consists of clothing for those hip and happy bubs… all of which is made in our wonderful Australian homeland! and will be coming soon!
I enjoy using the web and know what it takes to make a great online experience. Along with my unique products and personal level of operation, I hope ‘Ellis & Me’ makes for a great online shopping experience for all those wonderful mothers, families and friends who visit this site.
